This assignment will be worth 20% of the course grade.
Participants will prepare a response paper (max. 500 words) or an alternative response (e.g. video, audio recording, etc) to the following assignedreading(s) and video on technology / creativity in the learning and business process.
The paper will be written using a word processor and emailed to the instructor as an attachment. It should be properly formatted, including a cover page and references.
Read the two articles and watch the video presentation. Respond with your thoughts. What did you read and hear that you agreed with and what struck you as not right? The paper should reflect your personal educational experiences, the benefits and challenges of the 21st Century classroom, and the role you see technology playing in the future of education.
You should look at the points of view and challenges presented. Agree or disagree, link between the ideas (for instance, does Sir Ken's ideas on creativity link with the TIME article on 21st Century Schools?) and briefly (it's only 500 words) detail your reactions to these articles.
All three pieces should be included in your response.
